Where are you Going?

"Enter by the narrow gate.  For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many.  For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."  Matthew 7:13-14 ESV

"Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders, if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed,  let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by him this man is standing before you well.  This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.  And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."  Acts 4:8-12 ESV

"This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that "God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.  If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.  If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."  1John 1:5-10 ESV

"For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but share in suffering for the gospel by the power of God, who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began, and which now has been manifested through the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel, for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and teacher, which is why I suffer as I do.  But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am convinced that he is able to guard until that Day what has been entrusted to me. "  2Timothy 1:6-12 ESV

Let's pray:  Dear Lord,  I lift up all those who are reading these Bible verses today.  I pray for their safety and protection.  I pray that Your truth found only in the Bible would open the eyes of  people living in darkness (even though they don't know they are in darkness I pray that this will become clear to them.)  I pray that You Lord will give people understanding on what the "Narrow Gate" really is and why it is so narrow.  I pray Your Grace and wisdom will soften the hearts and minds of those lost.  I pray the arrogance of those who think they have no sin would be broken and that they would come to be ashamed of their arrogance and humbled before You.  I pray that they will understand what Your gift of salvation really means. Time goes so fast Lord and we are here for such a short time.  Thank You Lord for Your sacrifice on the cross and Your gift of salvation.  Thank You Lord for Your provision in all things.  I say these things in Jesus' name. Amen. will only find the truth in the Bible.  Do not depend on other books or writings to give you the truth.
